One of the best original Porsche 912s that is left with matching numbers.
The 1969 912 presented here has been passed by only two private owners and has covered only 24,561 miles since it left the factory on November 13, 1968. The car was delivered new to Las Cruces, New Mexico, and has since drove all its life in the dry, salt-free environment of the southwest. This Porsche 912 has been preserved in remarkably original condition. The paint is largely original and the Michelin tires are mounted on date coded wheels. On the other hand, preparations for the factory’s audio system are in place, including the original Hirschmann antenna, but the car is never equipped with a radio unit. The car does have the very rare air conditioning installed by the dealer and a Porsche certificate. The last owner of the 912 has added a handful of kilometers and noticed that the Denver Porsche specialist Steve Rowe had an engine overhaul of $ 8,500 in 2013 executed.
All in all, this 912 is perhaps the most original one that is still there and therefore a good investment for the future.
Rare original Porsche 912 equipped with 5 speed gearbox and only 1 year built with longer wheelbase.
Extremely low Km position. Completely original condition and complete with all accessories as manuals and tools.
At that time very much wanted successor of the 356 C.
